Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Boneless Country Ribs, Pork Chops or Pork Loin
  • 3 Tablespoons Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 16 Dill Pickles
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Hoagie Buns

Instructions

  • Cut the pork into small pieces.
1 Pound Boneless Country Ribs, Pork Chops or Pork Loin
  • Add the chunks of pork, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, water, and sugar to a food processor and process until the mixture is mostly smooth, about 1 minute.
3 Tablespoons Water, 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder, 1 teaspoon Salt, 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • To prepare the pork patties, first, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly spray it with olive oil spray. Then, divide the pork mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a flat patty that matches the size of the hoagie bun. Using your fingers or the handle of a table knife, create two impressions in each patty that go about halfway through the patty. Then place the patties on a baking sheet.
  • After forming all the patties, place the baking sheet into the freezer for 2 to 3 hours until frozen. NOTE: The patties can be placed in a freezer bag and saved for future meals.
  • When you are ready to cook, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, place the cookie sheet with the patties in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the pork is fully cooked.
  • Coat the McRib Patties generously with BBQ Sauce. Place the McRibs back in the oven and cook for another 6 minutes, until the sauce is nice and sticky!
    1 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • Slice the onions into thin slices.
  • Place the McRib on the bottom hoagie bun. Add some additional BBQ sauce if you want more zip to the sandwich.
  • Top the McRib with pickles and onions.
1 Cup BBQ Sauce, 16 Dill Pickles
  • Top the McRib with the top of the bun, and ENJOY!!!!
    4 Hoagie Buns
